Prime Aventine Team
Our team of highly accomplished PharmDs has years of experience and expertise developing US formulary submission dossiers for a wide range of products across diverse disease states and clinical settings. Because our team members have past experience evaluating products for reimbursement and formulary inclusion from the US payer side of the access equation, we understand the needs of the payer audience and are able to leverage that knowledge in developing dossiers that are fit for purpose.
As well as expertise in the US, the Prime Aventine team work closely with HEOR and evidence specialists in the wider global Evidence & Access team at Prime, to meet the needs of the changing US and global payer environment.
Sue O’Leary, BPharm
EVP, Evidence & Access

Sue O’Leary leads Prime’s Evidence & Access capability, bringing together a multidisciplinary team spanning market access, HEOR, real‑world evidence, and value strategy.
Sue began her career as a UK hospital pharmacist, managing formularies and developing an early appreciation for how healthcare decisions are made when resources are constrained. She later spent 15 years at AstraZeneca in global roles spanning pricing, market access, and early evidence planning, gaining experience during a period when health technology assessment and global‑to‑local alignment were reshaping the pharmaceutical landscape. These experiences shaped her belief that value must be built in from the outset of all development and commercialization decisions
At Prime, Sue focuses on creating strong connections between evidence generation, payer insight, clinical development and commercial strategy. Her role includes guiding teams across the US and Europe and aligning senior leaders in HEOR, RWE, US market access and global access. She works closely with colleagues across Prime’s capabilities to ensure clients have clear, actionable strategies grounded in robust, relevant evidence.
